FAQ

Common questions

Can I change the font or size?
You can set the font size (from 8pt to 24pt) and color before placing text. The font is Helvetica, a standard PDF font that requires no embedding and displays consistently in every viewer.
Can I add text to a scanned PDF?
Yes — scanned PDFs are image-based and this tool treats them the same as any other PDF. Your text is placed as a layer on top of the page image.
Is the text permanent after download?
Yes. The text is drawn directly into the PDF page content and cannot be removed with a standard viewer. It is not an annotation or an overlay that can be toggled off.
Can I undo a placement before downloading?
Yes — hover over any placed text item and click the red × button to remove it before you download.
Is there a limit to how much text I can add?
No hard limit. You can add as many text items as you need across as many pages as you like.
