How it works

Fill your PDF form in three steps

  1. 1

    Upload your PDF form

Drag and drop your PDF onto the tool or click to browse. The file is read directly in your browser — it is never sent to any server.

  2. 2

    Complete the fields

The tool detects all AcroForm fields in the PDF and presents them as a clean form. Fill in text boxes, tick checkboxes, and select from dropdowns.

  3. 3

    Download the filled PDF

Click 'Download filled PDF'. The tool writes your answers into the form fields and flattens them so the values are permanently embedded and cannot be changed.

Why use Signvoy

Built for real PDF forms

Detects all form field types

Automatically identifies text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, and dropdown lists in standard AcroForm PDFs — the same format used by government and business forms.

Flattened, tamper-proof output

The filled PDF is flattened before download, permanently embedding your answers so they cannot be altered in a standard viewer.

No Adobe Acrobat required

Everything runs in your browser using pdf-lib. No software to install, no account to create, no file ever leaves your device.

FAQ

Common questions

What kind of PDF forms does this tool support?
The tool supports AcroForm PDFs — the standard interactive form format used by governments, banks, insurance companies, and most businesses. It handles text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, and dropdowns. XFA forms (used by some Adobe-specific PDFs) are not supported.
What does 'flatten' mean?
Flattening converts the interactive form fields into static PDF content. The text you entered is embedded permanently into the document and can no longer be edited in a form viewer — it is treated as regular PDF content.
Can I fill a form that has no AcroForm fields?
If the PDF has no interactive fields — for example a scanned form — use the Add Text to PDF or Fill & Sign PDF tool instead to manually place text on the page.
Is my form data safe?
Yes. Everything is processed locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your file and your form data are never sent to any server. Close the tab and everything is discarded.
Will the filled PDF work in Adobe Acrobat?
Yes. The flattened PDF is a standard PDF/1.7 file that opens correctly in Adobe Acrobat, Apple Preview, Chrome's built-in PDF viewer, and most other readers.
