Signvoy is a remote MCP server, so Cursor needs one entry in mcp.json and nothing installed. Check contract status or send an agreement without leaving your editor.
Setup
One entry in mcp.json, then authenticate from Cursor's MCP settings.
Open MCP settings
Go to Cursor Settings, then MCP, and choose to add a new server.
Add Signvoy
Paste the server entry. The config holds no credential, only a URL.
Authenticate
Cursor shows the server as needing authentication. Click its login control, approve in the browser, and the tools appear.
~/.cursor/mcp.json
{
"mcpServers": {
"signvoy": {
"url": "https://api.signvoy.com/mcp"
}
}
}Prefer global config over a project .cursor/mcp.json — signing is an account capability, not a property of one repository.
Add to CursorConfig scope and troubleshootingWhat to ask in Cursor
Most useful when contract state sits next to the code you are already working on.
Check a customer's status
Find out whether a counterparty has signed while you are wiring up their integration.
“Has Acme signed their MSA yet? If someone is still pending, tell me who.”
Test embedded signing
Mint a real signing link for a pending recipient so you can load it in your local embed.
“Create a signing link for the pending recipient on the most recent sent document.”
Reconcile webhook events
Compare what your webhook handler logged against Signvoy's own audit trail.
“Show me the audit trail for this document so I can compare it with my webhook logs.”
More prompts, with notes on what makes each one reliable: the prompt library
Yes. With the Signvoy MCP server configured, Cursor's agent can create a document from one of your templates, show you a review link, and send it for signature after you confirm — all from the chat pane.
